Our Pastor

123 1 2Pastor Danny Andre Ball has been called and accepted the honor of being the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church located in the historic Madison, Georgia.  He is looking forward to learning and growing with members of Calvary as well as the community. He is a native of Richland, Mississippi and is the son of Patricia A. Ball and the late Daniel Ball, Jr.  Pastor Ball graduated from Richland High School.  He obtained his AA degree from Hinds Community College, Raymond, MS.  He is currently attending Andersonville Theological Seminary to obtain his Theological degree.

Prior to becoming pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, he served as Senior Pastor of Springhill Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia for seven years. With the help of God and prayer and dedication Springhill grew stronger Spiritually under the Leadership of Pastor Ball. The church was able to accomplish many goals in such a short time, many could have said it would have been impossible but as we have learned nothing is impossible with God!

Pastor Ball is married to Lady Jacqueline Ball.  They have four sons, Joshua, Jacob, Jonah, and Jordan. Pastor is a family man and loves his bride of 27 beautiful years. Jacqueline is one of the greatest gifts that God has entrusted with him to have and to hold. He is a father that loves his young men and is very passionate when it comes to their growth and success in Christ as well as life itself. Pastor has always tried to be the example to his sons so that they have no need to look outside the four walls of their home for leadership. He is a lifelong coach, mentor, teacher, and a student for Christ always willing to be that “Well” that his sons can draw wisdom and knowledge from.

In 2008, Pastor Ball accepted his calling into the ministry and was licensed to preach the gospel. He preached his first sermon at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, Ellisville, Mississippi under the leadership of Pastor Leander Bridges.  Pastor Ball is grateful that God allowed his path to cross with Pastor Bridges as his spiritual leader.

Pastor Ball moved his family from Mississippi to Georgia in 2009, were they joined Mt. Bethel Baptist Church and in 2010 Pastor Ball was ordained.  Pastor Ball is forever grateful of the seeds, knowledge, wisdom, and love Pastor Tyler planted in him.

Forever Giving God Praise
